Greenwood Boat ramp
I just moved to the greenwood area, and heard that there is a boat ramp nearby to the river. I was just wondering if there is any decent fishing right there in the area of the ramp, or where I would have the best chance at catching any fish if I put in there. I have never fished the river, and am unfamiliar with any of the areas often mentioned on here. If I put in at the Greenwood ramp, and it is not worth fishing right in that area, which direction should I head, left or right. Just looking for any info that may help me, I am only minutes from this ramp and would love it if i could find me a place to fish with some success so close to the house. Thanks in advance for any information I may receive.

Re: Greenwood Boat ramp
u-fool of fish,
From G-wood, go north toward the LGE plant in the late fall. Gambling boat on your left side of river. Pull up at the LGE plant just passed where they are dumping warm water from the plant. Cast back into the boiling water with 1 to 2 ounce weight 3 footleader, and chicken or chicken livers. Shiners works too.
Good luck.....but you ought be a Cat fan you meatloaf. :-)

Re: Greenwood Boat ramp
Hasn't the Greenwood Road ramp been closed for construction for the past several months. I had to put in at the Salt River Ramp several times this summer because of that.
