Just wandering if anyone has been fishing Wood Creek lately? I heard that the crankbait bite was doing pretty good a couple weeks ago, but that is the last I've heard.
I fished it for the first time ever yesterday. I caught 2 Kentuckys one on a crankbait and one on a brush hog. All the fish on the depth finder were deep I was planning on fishing it again Saturday.
I was thinking about going tomorrow afternoon and fish a while. If I go, I'll give you an update.

Was there fishing a club tournament on Saturday. We prefished Friday and I threw a few different crankabits then, but no fish where interested in any hard baits. The fish where hitting better in the dingy and muddier water. Send me a PM and I clue you to exactly where we caught them and on what. I'll tell everyone this; stay out of the clear water.
Sounds perfect for jigs & tubes with rattles to me.
