sympson
Now that I'm getting packed up and ready to leave for FL soon I'm kinda sad to be leaving sympson behind lol. I bought my boat so I could get on when not many others can and live within 60 sec drive so got to spend some time there this year.
Was pretty rough for the first part of the year and not a lot of action but I'm not much of a bass guy.. more of a fly guy so im sure that was the issue..
Things picked up after the water skiers left and has been pretty good and got a few pix in when my phone wasnt buried in some waterproof pouch somewhere. I know a lot of people don't catch squat there but thought I'd post a few pix I got over the last few weeks.

Re: sympson
awesome pics...both the fish and the lake. I didn't know there were smallies in there. You've caught better bass than I ever have and I've lived next to it for 10 yrs.....of course I've only been on a boat on it 4-5 times (most of the time I rode my atv over there with the kids and fished from the bank where the river water pumps in). Nice striper/hybrid too

Re: sympson
thanks.. those weren't even any of the real good fish I got this year. That smallie was a nice surprise and I thought it was a hybrid at first because of the tug but it was a decent smallie.. big n fat.
I don't think you can walk to any of the good spots except the cove on dam and the point in the concrete covert cove.
I hit this real hottttttttt spot bout a month ago and its been strong since and now with water down so far I can see why ;)
Nice fish in there tho but sometimes hard to get.
