it makes it ****!...for a bit
Fished Green last weekend and talked to a employee over at Emerald Island. He said the lake had turned over two weeks ago. Probably tough due to the big front that moved through on Tuesday. Green is a great place to fish.
One of the best days I've ever had on Green was during the turnover last year....smallmouth were on fire

The lake is still turning over. Some parts turn at different times and it is water temp related
how long till green will clear?

i seen some water today that was as clear as i have seen all year.over by the dam it was dingy but not black like turnover, corbins bend was as far as i went so maybe i missed it.
you catch em today mark? I'm prolly goin out for a little bit in the mornin
caught a couple steven, both pretty good ones but they where the only 2 bites i had.only tip i know is i dont think you can fish to slow, slower the better. caught em shallow but real close to deep.im going back in the morning myself and fish for a smallie.
safety tip,jj black skeeter will be on the water too with rookie driver.:D
too cold for me to be out there at daylight unless its a tourney.....will be headin out there for some of that good midday fishin
I was there today and noticed the stagnet black water. When do the fish get out of there funk that there in? Does the fishing get better before winter? Hell I was catching them much better when the water temp was 85. With water temps the way they are you would think the fish would be bitting alot better. I've got a trip down to ky lake for 4 days starting thurday and I'm debating wether or not to go because of the so called turn over. Wich I know zero on what happens to the fish and for how long. Might have to break down and get a guide for one of those days.
