Fishing Report for Cumberland?
Anybody been on Cumberland since last weekend. I'm trying to decide if i want to fish the South Central this weekend or not. Last weekend was tuff. The wind reeked havoc on most of us. The water temp was still in the lower 70's. Anybody got any updates on water temp and or how well you did?
Re: Fishing Report for Cumberland?
Nobody has anything to say about Cumberland this past week?

Thanks for the reply although I was looking for something a little more recent. I fished the South Central Tournament Sunday and didn't do so well. I threw everything a could think of spinnerbaits, shaky heads, buzz baits, pop r, spooks, shallow crank deep cranks, lipless crank and jigs. All we caught were small largemouth. We didn't even catch a Ky which is very odd. Especially on a shaky head. But we did fish between Conley Bottom and Fishing Creek. I think if I fish the tourny sunday I will go down this time. I'm hoping the water temp is a little cooler after that cold rain and days that haven't been so hot. Waiting on that magical 55 degree water temp.
Again FishinCreek thanks for your reply, I'm always grateful for the time people put into sharing info.
Re: Fishing Report for Cumberland?
As hard as we fished, we too expected more Ky action. The ones we did catch were around some downed trees in a little pocket. Also expected to see more shad activity as well. A real head-scratcher for us for sure.
Re: Fishing Report for Cumberland?
Was on Cland 25-29 October, Striper fishing. Doubt that would help ya any.
Re: Fishing Report for Cumberland?
I decided to fish the south central tournament sunday and fishing has picked up to say the least. We caught probably 25 fish, mostly smallmouth. The only bad thing about that was we only had 4 keepers. 1 small, 1 large, 2 tucks. All of which came off a jig or shakyhead. But we finished in the money at 5th. We fished the main lake all day in the lower end all around Jamestown and the water temp stayed around 68 all day. We tried lily, caney and wolf creek with nothing but very little bites to show for it. I think the big fish haven't moved back into the creeks yet. They are on the channel banks and the main lake points.
Good fishing to all
