Green or Barren?
Been waitin all fall for Barren to have a buzzbait bite, but with the watr bein sucked out at 1700cfs+ i dont know if fishin will be any good at Barren. So I ask you guys wo have been on Green lately, is it worth skip;ping a lake I know like teh back of my hand to give Green a shot? Would like to get into some Muckie too if i hit up green... how are things over that way? Feel free to PM me info if you dont want to make anything public knowledge...

Re: Green or Barren?
won @ green yesterday with 12.9 lbs
water temp around 60
almost complete turning over
most of the clubs fish came in 8 to 12 foot of water
crankbaits (med runner) and shakey heads were the best
fish were still scattered till about 230 pm then turned on
had some nice smallies turned in a 4.5 an a 3.7
5 boats turned in 28 fish total
hope this helps

Re: Green or Barren?
I haven't been out there since midweek but it was full turnover...didn't seem to be bothering the fish....i woulda had 10lbs or so in about an hour to an hour and a half....all of mine came on jig and shakey head.....and if you go bass fishing with a crankbait you always stand the possibility of running into a musky
