I have a 18.5 ft 1990 Cajun with a 1993 Evinrude 150. The steering is once again very stiff. I had new cable put on twice and they were greased once.
Any ideas? It's to the point of being dangerous to drive, especially when it gets colder.
Thanks

If you check around the motor there should be some greese fittings were the engine swivels / turns I do know if these are not lubed the motor is very hard to turn. Look real good cause some times they will hide the grease fittings. I will see if i can find some more info on the net for you..

Look for the grease fitting on the swivel bracket that needs greased. It looks like the gease fitting is on the left side if you look at the motor from the back.. This may help find it Circle in blue is the swivel bracket and circle in red is the grease fitting. Also check to see if there is a grease fitting on the stering wheel up under the dash..
