Again..North Korea!
Did ya'll hear the report that is coming out today in the news; about the North Korea showing off their nuclear plants...(also the one knowbody knew about),..a new enrichment plant! They allowed scientest from the US to look at these plants for the first time. One scientest from Standford Univ. (Dr. Heckler, he'd been there before in the past); present at the "showing" yesterday...quote said he was "stunned" at what he saw. They had equipment that was Ultra-Modern..and Ultra clean...and they were enriching Uranium by the 1000's!
What is worse...the Germans bombing London in the 1940's (The Battle of Briton)
...or a Rouge country...one that routinely does just the apposite they say thier doing..one that sinks another coutry's sub in "peace time"...killing all aboard. Im telling ya...this is bad news here. This is clear and present danger to all our neighbors..and our county as well.

Re: Again..North Korea!
Yep we need to act now before it is too late. I'm sure some folks in the Middle East are willing to pay top dollar for that stuff.

Re: Again..North Korea!
Yep, they're going beyond their usual "saber rattling" with this. But of course we've know all along that North Korea would do something like this. That government is one of the few remaining vestiges of the Iron Curtain, a truly totalitarian communist regime. I've always thought, and still do, that they're a bigger threat to world peace than even the fascist theocracies in the Middle East.

What makes me sick is a communist country is supposed to be for the people........yet they make nuclear weapons in an ultra modern facility all while their people starve to death, and beg the west for FOOD. Maybe they can eat enriched uranium.
Yea, gotta love it.

I agree, but the ironic thing is here we are supposed to have a Gubment for the people and that idea has been lost for many years. I hope it's starting to turn....

South admits firing first shells in row with North Korea

South Korea has admitted it fired artillery shells that triggered an early morning clash with North Korea. However it says it was part of a military drill and denied it was directed at the North. Earlier Seoul blamed the North for what it called an unprovoked shelling of its island. Pyongyang claimed the South had violated its maritime border during the military drills.

Wait a minute! Wasnt it the previous Mr Rogers who did the food paying to keep them quiet until they got their nukes running and he got out of office? We literally cant fight another war, let china deal with them and keep us out unless they do all out war on the South and maybe we can find an extra battleship or something, I guess we could rent one from china.

Re: Again..North Korea!
Diplomacy is the same thing that the Bush administration was doing with N Korea so its not like Obama is doing anything different on that front. Not sure why folks think that the US has to play world police every time something happens elsewhere and get our nose into things. For those of you suggesting covert ops or other means of silencing the midget, exactly what would you do? I mean, you take out the midget and you still have a lot of others who would follow in his footsteps. You have to keep in mind that this wacko has been in power for a long time and his father before him. Lots of brainwashing of the population during that time. Not to mention that if you start playing around in China's backyard without their blessing you could be looking at something a whole lot more involved and costly in terms of American lives. Given that China practically owns half of the US right now, they sort of have us by the balls. The best bargaining chip that we have is suggesting that with all the saber rattling by N Korea, may be its time that Japan should have a standing army, you know, for "self defense". The last thing China wants in the region is a well-armed Japan. I'm sure they still have nightmares about the last time Japan had an army. Also bear in mind that N Korea often does the saber rattling deal right before they try bargaining for something. I also think you'll find that there have been a number of incidences in the area for years that have gone unreported in the press.
