Green River Crappie
Am planning a striper fishing trip to Cumberland the first week in March, but would like to make a side trip to try for some early crappie. Have been looking at Green River, since it not too far away. Would appreciate some help out there.
) Best to go left or right from dam?
) Best areas to start in either arm of the lake?
) Best ramp to use that time of year(never been to Green River)?
) Will probably use minnows?
Also, does anyone out there do much crappie fishing at LC? Have striper fished there for years. Am very familiar with the lower part of the lake. Any help here will also be muchly appreciated.
thanks

Re: Green River Crappie
crappie fish at cumberland, tend to much bigger on average.from what i hear for the most part they have been running small this fall, not saying you won't get good ones but they tend to run in cycles, could be a down period, sure a few green regulars can help.

Re: Green River Crappie
Thanks for the update. What areas between Wolf Creek and the Dam would you suggest to look for early Spring Crappie on Cumberland?
thanks again
