Buying a present for a child
OK guys and gals heres my dilemma....my family went through the local school to give a Christmas to a needy child who otherwise wouldn't have one....Just so happens the boy we gots main interests are hunting and fishing....I'm trying to come up with a fishing gift for this kid....I don't want to send anything sharp like hooks or knives to school....and the gift needs to fit in a large christmas bag....I've already thought about a rod and reel but it won't fit in the bag....hard to buy fishing lures and not have hooks....It didn't say what kind of fishing he was interested in, catfish, bass, bluegill......We already have him some warm clothes....Boots, camo jacket, taboggan, and some other clothes...I need to get this kid something he can have fun with...he's a 5th grader....Any and all suggestions will be appreciated

What about one of those bait launching guns. I personally have never used one but it looks cool...
Re: Buying a present for a child
Tackle box...and you can fill it with things he can use and not get into trouble at school...ie..reel, soft plastics etc.
Re: Buying a present for a child
Bobbers, scales, gloves, ruler, disposable camera, for his big catch, stringer, there's a few off the top of my head...good luck
Re: Buying a present for a child
Airsoft guns seem to be very popular this year but not sure how the school would look upon it.
Re: Buying a present for a child
Take him fishing .He may not have the chance to go fishing. This is a gift that he can remember for a long time.
