Charlie Strong is getting it done

on the recruiting trail. He already had a good class put together and today got to verbal commitments from Miami. Teddy Bridgewater is a 5 star quarterback and his decision came down to Louisville, Miami, Tennessee, LSU and Florida. His teamate, wr Eli Rogers is a four star player. With what he already had committed for next year and adding these two, this should be a top 20 class or higher. This guy is a recruiting freak.

Sorry Tim Im not trying to steal your thread but this has to do with Strong as well. The Gators coaching staff has been decimated. I can't believe how much talent they had and now it's all gone. Strong, Mullen and Meyers and not to mention they lost Cam Newton when he was backing up Tebow. That place was stacked!

I'm belly aching a little and it will get better but jeez!

Strong no doubt will push that program to the top. It's all he knows win win win.

Every coach that has been successful at U of L has been good at recruiting Florida and getting the top local talent. Petrino was really good at it, but it appears Strong is taking it to another level. I just hope we can keep him around for a while.

I'm pumped. We will have a battle for QB at the start of the season. It will be interesting to see how it all shakes out.

I don't know alot about him other than what I read or watched on t.v but I like him. He sure seems like a good fit for a program that demands expectional results from their coaches. The tradition of winning is so deep that I trust the AD knew what he was looking for to continue that.

His love of football and his resume' has some nice school names on it. Mentions of growing up a Gator fan, playing for UGA and being the head coach in waiting at Texas all looks great but in the end its can he recruit and get the guys to play.

I'm stoked boys. Strong is the man, he's is bringing in talent Petrino couldn't even get. Louisville is gonna be back very soon to where they were, deal with it........

Tom Lemming has U of L as the #19 ranked recruiting class as of now. At the current update we are ranked ahead of both Oregon and Auburn who are playing in the BCS title game.
