anyone been to cland

looking for info on water conditions and if any smallies are being caught thanks.

Haven't been able to go , but was told it was stained all the way to Wolf. A few jig & jerkbait fish with the biggest percentage coming on the float & fly. Hope this helps

Went yesterday fished up Beaver, water had some stain to it, temp around 45 to 47. I tried the F&F and got board, fished a jig some then switched to a crank. Managed to pull in two keeper Large mouths but no smallies. Air temps started out around 38 but got colder as the day went on, my fingers did not like the runs I made.

Fished the back of Fishing Creek earlier this week. Water was extremely muddy and the entire cove of Lee's Ford was frozen. We did do some ice breaking but didn't have any luck with the fish. Saw tons of stripes and bait over a big flat but couldn't get them to open their mouths. If anyone goes out, be careful with that ice.....Thought I was gonna be the captain of the Titanic a few times :D
