Dale Hollow: any alewifes any size being caught?

Does anyone know of any alewifes of large size being harvested, at Dale Hollow?

my neighbor pulled bait last night an said one pull he got enough for 4 trips, we get a mixture of shad but lately the elwies (sp) have been used over at cumberland for strippers there that big, we had a (warm rainy night) that was within the first hour of darkness

Thanks Rick, Sorry for not replying sooner! I have been checking off and on with a guide friend of mine he says that the pulls have been terrible(for size ) . . apparently he is giving up until spring! I really have the hankering to go down to Dale, but he was my only source . . I fish from the boat 'tied to the bank' and shiners . . . do not work well for that application . . but then again, I'm sure you know this.
