I had never heard of Rep. Gabrielle Giffords until today. I know her recovery will not be a speedy one but I do hope she has a full recovery, however long that may take is anyone's guess. I just hope she recovers.
As for the suspect (Jared Loughner)...I'm glad they caught him before he turned the gun on himself...to many of these idiots who pull these cowardly stunts tend to take the easy way out by pulling the trigger in themselves.
Jared Loughner - I hope it's a long and slow painful death for you.

The sad thing is you are correct but had a law abiding citizen been armed maybe this would have ended with less of a tragedy. It is really upsetting that innocent lives were taken especially a young child. Criminals that commit crimes involving children shoud be hung publically for 2 days by their feet and then by the neck. We need stiffer penalties for violent crimes in this country. Stop fighting gun control and put these people to death.:mad:
