For You Catfishermen

Okay this is a weird story, I was going through some pictures and found this, I forgot all about it. I caught this catfish on Lake Erie last summer trolling a scorpion spoon for walleye, I had no idea Lake Erie supported catfish of this size. I'm a poor judge of weight, maybe someone has a guess

Re: For You Catfishermen
From my experience catfish usually weigh a pound per inch (once they get some size to them of course) I don't know how tall you are but for simple math lets say your six foot, I would say that is a 30" cat (give or take a few inches) so 30 pounds, nice catch!

Jay, I'm puttin' you at 5'8", lol, anyway I'm puttin'g that cat at 22lbs. Assuming I'm correct on your height, I'm going by a mudcat I caught in Percy Preist Lake that was maybe a smudge longer but of course wider and she weighed 27 lbs. Definately a great picture and because of posts like this, well we all appreciate you for it. Thanks.

I'm guessing just shy of 20 lbs but a great channel nonetheless.

Re: For You Catfishermen
I think catfish are pretty agressive when they want to be. I have caught many on buzzbaits and rattletraps. Still a nice cat.:)
