Micro Jig question
Finally decided to tie micro jigs and bass jigs lot of fun to pass away the winter hours, problem is i give most of them away. Any how my question is can you use colored pipe cleaners and other items you might find at a kraft store for tying. It is hard to find tying materials with out driving to BP.
Thanks for your input

Re: Micro Jig question
try a search w/ your computer lots of places sell chenile, marabou and other materials even ebay. never tried pipe cleaners try them and tell us how they work. on the micro jigs with size 8 or 10 hooks i would be inclined to think the pipe cleaner would close the hooks gap and reduce hookups.. for real small jigs get small or ultra chenile and remember "ain't no use if it ain't chartruse"

Re: Micro Jig question
You can use anything your imagination will let you. I made up a bass jig intended to be floated behind a Carolina Rig weight using a cork, my wife's sewing thread, and some feathers from a feather duster. Anything works, including some super glue to bind it all together. Also, look in your Christmas ribbon box. Good, shiny stuff in there.
