Down at sportsmans the other day no walleye just a couple punk bass. I'd say theyve not started run yet as I've been looking for them the past couple weeks.

Up river from Wax i want to say 7to 8 miles. Below bacon creek. Inaccessible til summer pool so far as launching boat with trailer.

You can put your kayak in at bacon creek. Waters really swift there and go to sportsman and fish some really good waters this spring. Concrete ramp at bacon creek I can launch my 14'ft jon boat with my 4x4 this time of year. Sportsmans is for summer pool and quite a way from river now. It's for summer pool. Mud can get fairly deep and difficult to get out of now. You can sink pretty good at sportsmans during winter pool. I know all kinds of good runs for you in that kayak on the nolin. Check out Broad Ford to Bacon Creek about a 5 mile stretch of river and some awesome fishing during the spring runs. Swift waters, eddie pools just about any type water you seek.
