C-River below Wolf from bank
Would I be wasting my time to drive down there and fish from the bank. I would like to get some Saugers and some Eyes but can I do this effectively from the bank??? Is the boat a must. I am specifically talking right now during this time frame also. Any info is appreciated..

You guys just hanging around the dam or are you going down river any? The way their bouncing around the water lately is questionable about the fishin conditions. I'm heading down this week and probably cover 10 to 15 miles of the river looking for them. Not to say I'll do any better just curious as to if your just hanging around the dam?
Re: C-River below Wolf from bank
fished the bank yesterday, casted for two hours never had a hit, talked to a couple of guys in boats, nothing there either. Went to burkesville today, and was blown off the river before I could give it a serious try.

Man that is bad no hits in 5 miles? You probably threw everything and the kitchen sink at them also?
Re: C-River below Wolf from bank
yes we tried worms, gigs, blades, minnows, only rainbow, not even a skip jack, and we caught them on down the river.
