Herrington this past Saturday

Fished Saturday in all that rain! Water temps were 50.4 behind Gwinn island causeway and 53.7 in the very back of the main creek. Main lake temps were between 48-52 between Gwinn and Bryants camp. Muddy main lake to lightly stained in the back of feeder creeks.
Small tourney only 4 boats in that nasty weather. Windy and rainy! We all had fish. Winning bag was 11+ with his big fish being over 6 pounds.
Fished several lures, most productive was a ghost jerkbait. Good luck to all and be safe out there.
Special note....if your rain suit leaks......go buy a new one. Don't waste time or money on the Kiwi water repelant from ****'s, It don't work so good! I was wet by 9am and fished til 3:30. Long day when you are wet.
