Kfwd shocked fish below wolf creek dam
Drove all the way from london to wolfcreek dam to go fishing yesterday and kfwd had 4 boats shocking up fish and 2 trucks hauling them off. I know it will help in the future but gas 3.50 a gallon it was disappointing. They shocked from 230 until 800. I might as well fished in a swimming pool with a 15 mph current. Dont think it will be worth going back for a long wile.

But it was very interesting talking to them i learned alot they were very nice. They said there wasnt a high number of waleye or sauger up there. Even fewer now. The biggest waleye they had was 9lb and they were taking them to the hatchery at cave run.
Re: Kfwd shocked fish below wolf creek dam
Is Sauger and Walleye all they were hauling out?

my guess is they were harvesting brood stock, so they could have taken browns and rainbows too

they have all the browns and rainbows they want at the hatchery at wolf creek. they were taking these to cave run
Re: Kfwd shocked fish below wolf creek dam
Wolf Creek doesn't use brood stock, they get their eggs from Dale Hollow and raise them there. Or at least they used to.
