Rough river

What does rough look like. My wife and I have a coed tournament their sat. And was wondering what's been going on down their. Such as how high it's up, water color, water temps and is anybody doing any good on bass. Any help will be great. My wife has only been bass fishing twice and she loves it she cought one little bass about 12 inches and now she wants to fish tournaments so it odd to pretty interesting this weekend. It's gonna be a lot of fun I just want her to catch a keeper and us have a decent showing so she will stay interested in it. It makes a difference in your marriage when you have something in common and can spend quality time together. It's hard to get mommy and daddy time with 4 kids. I'm sure some of you all on here understand.

I agree with you. My wife and I were going to fish that toun. also, but it its up in the bushes and fishing was very poor as of last Sat. The warming trend could get em going. Water color is stained on the main, and muddy as you turn to go to North or South fork. I'm taking her crappie fishing w' the long poles and maybe hit the next co-ed with her..

Take your wife and have fun it is going to be a nice week end for it..
The water is clearing nicely and the rain we just got did not make it any muddier. It is still pretty murkey in the creeks not so bad in the main lake temps as of yesterday was still in the 48 to 52 range.

I AGREE GET HER OUT NO MATTER HOW BAD THE WATER IS , THE TEMPS ARE GOING TO BE NICE . MAYBE FISH THE CRAPPIE TOURNY SUNDAY FOR A BONUS . :p

I just hope we dont get anymore RAIN anytime soon!!!

The upper creeks are slowing with good color going in . May cruise up tules to the riffles tomorrow . :)

rob fished around peter cave today , He said the small bluegill was working the top of the water and he got a few bites but that was it. He tried crappie fishing cat fishing and bass but no takers. He also said he spent 12 hours on the water today. He does not have any way to tell the lake temps but he did say the water is still pretty murkey.
