Rough river hybrids
Went fishing at rough this morning. Didn't catch any largemouth, but did manage to catch 7 hybrids on lipless cranks, 6 of them being 17"+... if the largrmouth aren't biting you can't beat that. Think the fishing should be very good down here in a few weeks.

Caught all but one of them off a rock pile near the laurel ramp. When you pull out of the cove, go strait across the lake, there are 3 rock markers around the area. Be careful though, when the water is down these rocks are exposed. They are currently below the surface, so be careful not to hit them. Also, they were not biting any other baits I threw at them - they liked a chartrose sexy shad lip less crank and a silver rattle trap.

Re: Rough river hybrids
Definitely, they are a lot of fun to catch. I havn't ever caught so many that were in open water before at rough - usually only have luck with them in the jumps.
