Re: Ky Lake Ramp Question?
Dont know about fenton ramp but most ramps here are usable just not the adjoining docks,if you check tva info lake is currently falling and should be near 360 predicked by then.Lot of current yet, color is good in most places, but as they pull it off the banks may create some. Some bass have eggs, backs of bays much warmer than main lake, main currently is 56f.
Re: Ky Lake Ramp Question?
At 361 the ramp was barely visible and dock was useable at fenton. But I had to get out to locate ramp. But useable. Water in those bays were nicely stained and pushing the 60 degree mark as of Friday.
Re: Ky Lake Ramp Question?
Fenton was closed at 363 last weekend but like posted above they are dropping the lake and I would expect the ramp open this weekend. I fished north of the bridge last Saturday and the water conditions were fine. The water had a little stain to it but overall was in good shape. Barkley had more color...

Re: Ky Lake Ramp Question?
I am heading down this weekend for a small club tourney. It is a trailer tournamant. I see the current water level is 362. Was curious if the Fenton Ramp is currently accessible or if anyone beleive it will be accessible by the weekend?
I am sure the Ken Lake Ramp is usable but I am sure it will have a crowd.
Also wondering if anyone has been towards the Duncan/Sugar Bay area and could comment on current water conditions.
Thanks!
Not too sure about Fenton, but I used Sugar and Pisqua this weekend.
Sugar was useable, but you could not see where the ramp actually was. Same thing with Pisqua.
Water looked pretty good in those bays and others....expect to see a lot of company in those. The boats were stacked up in Sugar on Sunday and it was pretty much like a highway there.
Later,
Geo
Re: Ky Lake Ramp Question?
Did you have any success in Sugar? I fish there quite often. I use the ramp when wind is kicking and dont want to make the run from Fenton. I just hate the gravel dust and the long slow ride back there!

Not really...........we did catch fish there, but not what I had expected. The fish simply were not up yet, and the ones that were up were few and FAR between.
