Crappie?????
Hey guys my uncle came into town for a few days wanting to do some crappie fishing. I know its not the best of time because of the weather but weather was better when plans were made.
So is there any lake in the state the crappie are biting? within a couple hour drive of frankfort.
Any help would be great. PM me if you have want to.

Re: Crappie?????
I know it's a long drive, but the 'specks were just stating to hit at nolin, before this cold front came in. A buddy of mine caught 25 keepers,
(9") the 17th or 18th of mar. All on the main lake, in about 2-3 ft of water. All off laydowns, and brushpiles... Tr

Re: Crappie?????
crappie are always biting in Green River Lake, with cooler temps look at creek channels at depths 20-24 feet deep. we caught 31 keepers in early february when water temp was 37 degrees. you should find them within a half mile of the 551 bridge.
