1958 Evinrude
I have a 1958 Evinrude which I cannot get to run. I had taken it to a local mechanic to have the pressure fuel system changed to a mechanical fuel system and needless to say, I am not happy with the outcome, especially since the motor still will not run. Anyone have any suggestions to whom may be able to look at it?
Thanks in advance,
Tony

Try giving Robinson Marine in Campbellsville a call. I don't know if he can fix it or not but he's very good with all the older stuff...he's an older elderly black gentleman who was supposed to retire years ago but I guess he never did, at least up until about a year or two he was still messing with boats anyway....He's a one man show, has kind of an old run down looking garage that gets it's winter heat from a wood burning stove, but he has tons of old outboards laying around, hanging around his shop. He's an honest man....just don't rush him.

Also...I'd love to see a picture of that old 58 model outboard if you have one you can share with us.
