Nolin River at Millerstown
I got a look at nolin river from the Millerstown bridge earlier today and the water still looks a little muddy to me. I used to fish at Millerstown several years ago but there seems to be no place to fish now from the bank because of the no trespassing and posted signs. The land must be all privately owned now. The lake is 13.1 feet above summer pool so I figure the whitebass have moved way up river to spawn. I don't know any good place to fish for them now from the bank when they are way up river. There should be plenty of white bass left for later in the year!!!
Re: Nolin River at Millerstown
I might be mistaken, but I believe the white bass spawn is long over with. They should be back in the main lake by now.

Re: Nolin River at Millerstown
Yeah they got a good flushing of water last week to give them passage back to lake. Millerstown dam is off limits now. White bass were up Past Spurrier all the way to White Mills 2 or 3 weeks ago by the hundreds. You can't even fish at White Mills dam any more. Posted signs are up and thieve been writing tickets for trespassing. Can't even launch a canoe there anymore.
