Looking for a good shellcracker and bluegill lake to fish. Looks as though Barkley and Ky lake will be unfishable for a while. How about some of the lakes in Tennesse or northern alabama?

Try Dale Hollow, if it is not to far of a drive. I have not been on the lake lately, but I am going to try and go this week. It has some decent quality gills and shellcrackers in it.

All the reports I have read show Kentucky and Barkley fishable, especially Kentucky.

That's the funniest thing I've heard all day! Been hearing some GREAT reports on the shellcrackers and bluegill....they are a little more scattered, but still hungry as can be! Just have to cover a little more water...can't really anchor and load up on'em like usual. That's the only difference.
