If you are in it for catching fish your right on time, but if you are lunker hunting uh, umm, well, yeah bigger fish are harder to come by but numbers of fish are not a problem.

Still above pool but dropping a foot a day right now around the 365 mark, most ramps are accessible, Lake looks good got some color to it but very fish-able. Supposed to have isolate t-storms tonight and tomorrow so beeee careful!

We fished Sunday thru Wednesday in the area of Big Bear down to Little Bear. Water was very fishable and very little debris in the area we fished. Caught fish every day with numbers improving day by day. As Dave's report said, we fished flooded bushes and had good results particularly in early morning. We had most our success throwing Senkos. Color did not matter. Only had 1 large bass on, which we lost in the bushes. Most fish were in 1-1/2 to 3 lb. range. On Wednesday, we stayed in Malcolm Creek area all day and must of caught 40 to 50 bass. The entire back of this bay was loaded with bait fish and bass.(snakes, too).
Ten years ago, we fished with Dave Stewart and we are still using what he taught us then to catch fish today. Anybody who has not fished with Dave should do it atleast 1 time. You won't regret it. It is the best money you will ever spend on fishing.
