the future of cumberland lake
I doubt it.
I wouldn't think "Government" guys would be traipsing around South Ky in Blue Suits these days.
The $100 for 1400 acres she aleges is not a fair price. 5th amendment states:
"...nor shall private property be taken for public use, without just compensation."
Possibly she is selling her CD's or just being generality annoying.
Ironhead, I doubt there is one iota of truth. Keep in mind that the invention of the internet has allowed more misinformation and outright lies to be taken as fact than any other creation known to mankind. It has also given the tin foil hat crowd a much larger platform.
LOL, what a crock of ........
Never understand what motivates people to publish crap like this! Sounds like she should team up with the CNN reporter in Columbia, KY. Together, they just might get great scoop! So sad...sad...sad, what more can be sad/said!
And I live here, Jamestown, KY,

All DEEDS are registered......

Geo
That would be one heck of a lake though.
She must have nothing else to do at all.
Well the land can be listed by the TVA if there is a clear and honest need for the property. but the amount that has been listed here as payment for the land is just a little to much much of a story than the so called 100 dollars. My family owned a little over 400 acres of bottom land along the Wolf Creek, this was a long time back and they recived alot more than that and even had some work to get out of the area from the TVA. The law states that any land aquired would be bought for no less than the current average per acre. Well that will hae to wait headed for the sac
4100
The only future I see is the lake is going to be very good for bass for a while when it gets up and all that brush is flooded. :D
Ever since is was a kid in Monroe county they have been talking about putting a dam at the Tenn state line in the Vernon.Macfarland area of Monroe county, they have said this for years as an answer to why they do not build a bridge at Mcmillians ferry. I for one would love to see a lake there, would be good fishin, but it will never happen in my life time as they have talked about this for years and years. Also what kinda music is she playing or what kind of cd is she talking about. She smoking some good *&^%. lol lol lol:D
