He takes a Lexus out for a test drive with his wife in the front seat and gets busted for doing 83 miles per hour OVER the posted speed limit. Just curious, but is having a valid drivers liscense a requirement to drive a NASCAR racecar? He should have his liscense revoked, suspended a fined by NASCAR (not some little slap on the wrist) but serious punishment. If that was one of us, they would have put us under the jail.
True they would toss us in jail for sure but it's all about who you know. Of course being a top notch race car driver helps!

I know you're joking,but he wasn't on the road with other "top notch race drivers." All it would take is some gal on a cell phone or grandma pulling out of her driveway and then we have a vehicular homicide case. This case deserves some serious consequences.

I am pretty sure Don was not defending him by saying "being a top notch race car driver helps". Don is saying that is the reason he is not thrown under the jail. He is not saying he is ok with his antics because he is a race car driver but saying he will get off with a tap on the wrist because of his status in NASCAR
I can't stand that guy. I'd like to see somebody make him eat teeth.

Yep for sure he should be punished for his actions, he is very lucky noone was hurt including himself. I mean't since he is such a celebrity in racing and rubs elbows with folks who have billions of dollars that he will not be punished like I would if I got caught running at those speeds.:)

I guess no one has ever taken a car out on the backroads to see what she'll do.......lots of hypocrites bashing Kyle with this story....
If you're going to tear up some backroads, you best scope the stretch out first for Barney, which Kyle forgot to do in this case.
Also, I don't think NASCAR should be involved at all with this. What a man does in his personal time is his own business.
