Does anyone know of any of the locks near Lexington other than the lock at fort boonesborough that I can gain access to bank fish. I am looking to fish for catfish and walleye. Any info would greatly be appreciated.

You can fish below the lock just below high bridge; I think it is lock 7. Just go south on US 68 out of Lexington and go straight on 33 through Wilmore. Just before High Bridge Park, take a right on Lock 7 (?) Road and continue until the road ends--you need to go through the gate way. Climb down the bank and start fishing. I see a lot of people fishing there; I assume it is ok.
