Has anybody tried fishing the Ohio River near Cincinnati since the river seems to be in better shape. I was thinking about trying to go after some catfish.

Has anybody tried fishing the Ohio River near Cincinnati since the river seems to be in better shape. I was thinking about trying to go after some catfish.
Not much of a catfisherman but have some biddies that catfish a lot. They do quite well from the powerplant in Lawrenceburg to rising sun. Something else we have been catching the heck out of the last couple years is sauger. And I mean a lot of them. Good luck

I'm down river from Cincy, but we have been pulling flatheads out of the rocks and structure close to the bank around Madison and Westport. Good luck!
