Wow is right! That is a big fish! Small dogs could be eaten by that monster.
I'm headed to north of Kenora, Ontario for a fly-in trip Monday. Big smallies and pike....we caught a 43 in. pike last time up and are shooting for a 45 this year! We key in mostly on smallies and we are going to hit them right. They should be shallow feeding for spawning and some early spawners I'm sure.
You guys are cutting deeply, Sigh.............Deeply I say............
What a trip! Over 450 total smallies and pike between 4 people in 5 days. Unreal! Big Pike was 38 in. and big smallie was 19 in. and 4 lbs. Can't wait to go back.....only 363 days now!!!!!!

NO monsters, but we did catch some quality fish......20 over 3.........
With that I can also say we only caught 15 or 20 dinks.........MOST of the fish were 2 - 2.5lbs............
Nothing over 4 or really close to 4.......at least not that day.
We caught 40-50 for the week that were over 3.
