River in Ft. Ben state park

I usually go and fish the pong up there, but have never caught anything. Except myself. Ouch. Anyway, I was up there yesterday wandering around and saw that stream that runs through there. I asked the gate guy if it's wadeible and he said it sure is. Next question, is it even worth it? I found a few places that look pretty easy to get into. It was moving pretty fast yesterday. But, are there any fish in there and if so, is it very deep?
