Re: Nightlights for fishing
I'm thinking about buying the full moon light. There is a lot of info on these lights on the bassboatcentral.com website along with a review. I think the length of your boat is the main factor in whether you need the full moon or half moon. They are really supposed to put out a lot of light for their size. You might also check with the guys at Backwaters here in Lex, they sell them and can give you a lot of info.
Re: Nightlights for fishing
I am pretty happy with my Nucli-eye "atom. A buddy bought the new Stan Sloan LED and he used it this weekend. He used my atom last weekend, so he can give us a fair comparison. Both $159.

Do you use only 1 moonlite when there is a person in front and back of the boat or 1 moonlite for each person?
Re: Nightlights for fishing
Spoke to my buddy that fished with the Stan Sloan. He said the blacklight output was equal to the Atom. He like the reostat of the green lights that allowed him to see the bank.
Re: Nightlights for fishing
I fish an 18'3" boat & 1 Fullmoon is all my partner & I use. Plenty of light.

Same here. I is good for two people. LED lights are great!! I have also droped mine a couple times in the lake still on and plugged up and they will NOT leak.
