Re: Daily House Boat Rental?
Check with Grove Marina on Laurel Lake.
Re: Daily House Boat Rental?
That's very common during the peak season. A lot of houseboat rentals are booked a year in advance for a week at a time.
You might be able to work something out with a local boat dealer. They may have a boat owner with their boat listed that would jump all over such a deal to get a few extra dollars. The dealer should also be able to provide a licensed captain.

You got to have some kinda license to operate a house boat?

Not if you rent it. Now if you're paying someone to take you out, then yes.
If I had my boat listed for sale, and someone offered $1,000 to rent it for the day, I would gladly take it, but I would want a licensed captain driving it.
