How much current does it take to get the fish actively bitin--tva has been pullin about 30,000 on average at barkley while kentucky lake has been 60,000 up to a 100,000--is 30,000 enough to get the bass active--thanks in advance for any advice!

Personnally I like 20,000 or better on Barkley and 50,000 on Ky for sustained active bite....you will get the fish activated for a short time with lower pulls when they first step up the current..ex: 20,000 stepped up to 35,000 on Ky will activate them for a period of feeding. We have more than enough current right now....but also remember, there is more involved in getting sustained active feeding than current..current is a plus but not everything.
Mr. Stewart thanks so much for the good information--My buddy and I took a ledge trip with you last year which has helped our fishing a 1000%--Thanks so much your awesome!
Glad your fishing has improved....makes the effort I spend teaching my client's worth it...have a safe holiday.
I took Dave's eliminating water class last friday. Dave thanks for a great day. Stuff is still popping in my head from the class that I have to stop and jot down to pit in my notes. I would highly recommend this course to anyone. Dave is a great guy andis full of knowledge. Thanks again Dave
