Nolin Lake 7/1/11

Been at work fellas, sorry for being a little late on this report...

Hit NRL Friday, put in at Dam around 4pm, water temps 85-86, clarity good. Headed up towards State Park. Shad had moved out of Briar, and back on mainlake. Found bass working the shad along the statepark banks and put a hurtin on them till dusk. Flukes were the ticket...several shorts, but some really nice keepers in the mix...biggest around 3.5lbs. Mostly LMs...some spots. I will truly miss the NRL jumps when I move....:(

fished nolin sat morning and they were in the jumps on the main lake. they were killing the shad and we caught 15-20 in about 2 hours. once 8am hit the bit slowed down. we caught the all off little poppers and one on a suspending minnow. it was a good morning.

WTG bro...fun stuff huh! I'm going to hit them again in the am...I'll report back.
