Good Fishing!!

Just wanted to know if anyone is having luck with frogs right now, either at ponds or the big lakes?

Went out the last 4 nights in a row around 7pm to a couple local ponds that are heavily weeded right now with the spro frog and the big bass are biting right now. Probably caught a total of 20-25 big bass over 4 nights, the smallest being 16 inches and the biggest was around 25 inches and 8lbs! Can't beat frogging right now in weeds or out in the open, best bait to use right now to catch the big ones!

Anyone try the frog in the bigger lakes and have any luck?

On a serious note, I think frog fishing is going to go bananas next year. Strike King jumped into it both feet (even putting "KVD" on the frog... has anyone ever seen that man use a frog?). Frogs were a pretty big deal at ICAST and a frog-style bait has won a best of show award 2 consecutive years.

Ponds can be different than lakes. Even I can catch fish in ponds but patoka and the river takes my name almost every day

Ponds are not always the easiest places to catch Bass, bluegill yes anyone can catch Bluegill. I grew up fishing some big lakes and have not met a lake where I have not had luck, does not matter what time of year, Lake are easier to fish in my opinion.
