Boat Ramp @ Ky. River/Elkorn Creek in Monterey
Anyone know anything about the boat ramp on Elkorn Creek just before it empties into the KY River. I usually put in at Steele Branch ramp then motor up to the creek but would like to fish it later and don't like to run the river in the daylight much less in the dark.
It looks like a campground and maybe a canoe rental place but I was wondering if anyone could pay a fee and put in there.
Thanks, Steve

Steve, I always put in at Steele Branch too. So I could not tell you anything about that ramp either. I believe they are listed in the Yellow Pages.

Been a couple of years but there is a fee. I think it is $5? The ramp is rough and drops of quickly so be carefull and go in slowly if you ever try it.

Thanks for the replys. I will either look for them in the yellow pages or may just beach up there next time and walk up there an talk to someone.

I forget the name of the campground, but hey have a fee (either $3 or $5). The ramp is fine and plenty of parking. The office is on the left right after you get into the campground.
