Interesting Renewable energy concept
I've seen this stuff before......I think THIS type of research is the future of renewable energy. Not turning corn in to ethanol, or fracking shale.....

Re: Interesting Renewable energy concept
Thanks for posting that George. I like the way this sounds. Not only is it cleaner in and of itself, but it also uses the Carbon Dioxide to make the fuel. Hopefully there will be some legitimate efforts to further this.

And then we can let the Saudis eat oil.
Re: Interesting Renewable energy concept
Yeah, that's an interesting idea. I saw a segment on it on 60 Minutes, or some other show recently. Maybe they'll eventually get something similar to be practical, but right now they can't produce nearly enough fuel per acre for it be of any real use.
Re: Interesting Renewable energy concept
Also saw an interesting clip about solar powered highways. When you take into consideration the amount of oil used to make asphalt, the constant up keep, it could almost be feasable. We already have bullet proof glass wouldn't work everywhere granted. But I cant understand using tillable land, for crops to burn in our fuel tanks.
