Ok I know I posted this last week, but I did not get to go due to my sister giving birth to my beautiful neice! Well worth the sacrifice of not getting to fish! I know all the talk about deep deep deep and fizzing the fish. We are all good there just want to know if bite is still good. Is morning better than night still deep cranking or are the jigs and big worms working better?

The **** was shut off last Thursday, the bite has drastically slowed. The fish have seemed to have scattered. I fished tonight and found it hard to find keepers. Alot of short fish could be found and caught but not much on keepers. Last Thursday the 3 fish tourney took 9 lbs to win. It had been taking 13lbs. I would suspect the bite to stay slow for a while now. Water temp this afternoon was 92.
I fished yesterday morning from 5:30 until 8:30. Caught around 15. Best 5 wighed around 14-15 pounds. Caught em all cranking.
