Anyone bowfishing up there? Or anywhere else in the general area? Seen a couple boats out this weekend given it a try here and there.
Real new to the sport and just trying to learn about some local spots to try.
Plenty of carp ,,,,,,,,thats for sure. Just kinda suprised I havnt seen more people doing it more in this area.
Couple years ago they had no bow fishing signs all over the place down there!State park and all. Plus with all the rocks and people down there probably wouldn't be a good idea.I saw a boat up there a couple weeks back,don't know if I'd take the chance with the DNR.
Ive seen people do it there before and there are signs posted no bowfishing. But the guy was catching plenty of fish. If your brave enough to stand up to the DNR go for it.
