Junior bassmasters at green river lake

my son is going to fish this, we have never fished it. any advice would be great. cant go pre fish, i live in evansville,in. i have a hot spot map and it looks deep. he loves ledge fishing.

Bass are in the transition period on Green, was the last I heard. A lot of people are saying they are scattered. These hot days will pull them back off a little, the cool nights get them up. What we did at Taylorsville over the weekend was fishing secondary points, starting out shallow in less than 8' then moving off deeper. Deepest we caught fish yesterday was 14' right on the bottom at mid-day. That may not work at Green, there are people here that fish Green a lot that should be able to put him on fish.

Crank.. crank.. crank! after 1030. green has some fresh water runnin into if u can find it and thats good for the mornin top water. dark green and black is his best bet. look for the humps in the middle of the lake. you'll be in 60' and all of a sudden be in 10. crank off those humps. just circle them. natrul color cranks. still on reaction bites there. u can catch them on ledges but use brown or green jigs on wroms shaky head.

thanks everybody, my boy is 13yrs old and he has been fishing with me since he was 2. he is really good, but i burned him out a little, but he cant wait to fish this tourney, im going to use all this infromation to help him.

I have our 1st qualifier on green for UK's 2011 season on Sunday. Any chance I can get some of this info?

I'll be out pre-fishing Saturday and maybe Friday evening any help would be appreciated.

I'm sorry, meant this coming weekend. Sept. 10th and 11th

We've gotten a lot of rain down here over the past 48 hours, so keep that in mind. :)
