To quote Randy Travis.......
I'm diggin' up Golden bones, i'm diggin' up Golden bones......Exhuming things thats better left alone....:D Well, close to a quote anyway.... Another good day on the water today. Hooked 4 fish with 3 to the boat and one came unbuttoned right at the boat. Fish were even more spooky with the calm conditions this afternoon when the cloud cover broke. Turned out to be a nice afternoon when the sun came out. Much easier to spot fish. The Backstabber Fly is the "go to" so far.

I enjoy reading your posts and seeing your photos, but I am curious what does your average fish weigh?

Thanks!
You know.. I've got a boga grip on the boat but forget to grab it and weigh these guys... I'd say the average would be around 6ish or a little bigger.... 1st one today was kinda small (3-4) and they got bigger as the day progressed... Last weekend I caught one of the biggest since I've been chasing these guys and I'd say that one was closer to 7lb or maybe 8lbs.
Fun fish to stalk!
