Anyone have a fishing report for Barren? Going down to Barren River Lake State Park next week. Are the tourney guys bringing in big bags? It will mainly be largememouth fishing but would like to catch a few Smalljaws, is this out of the question?

Anyone have a fishing report for Barren? Going down to Barren River Lake State Park next week. Are the tourney guys bringing in big bags? It will mainly be largememouth fishing but would like to catch a few Smalljaws, is this out of the question?
Saw some good bags weighed in this past weekend. 18 lbs + won Green river bassmasters tourney, in bag was 7+ kicker, several bags in the 14-16 range in another tourney, saw some nice smallies weighed in, glad to see them showing back up, also from reports lots of non keepers and slots caught, Barren has had good spawns in last couple years it seems. Fishing is good here, lake has turned over in spots, the spillway smells bad, but this rain will change things, this weekend it should be good, if weather is decent. Good luck.
