I fished it with Jabbo 10 days ago. We caught 4 keepers & had 1 pushing 4 pounds. We caught fish on jig, shakey head and senkos... Conditions have changed quite a bit over the past 10 days though. I think I'd focus more on shad pattern with this cooler weather (top water options, spinnerbaits, crankbait and flukes). Good luck if you go!

Fished Guist Creek Saturday out of a kayak for a couple of hours. First time I've ever really fished it out of a boat. Paddled towards the back section. Lots of baitfish activity. Caught one decent-sized bass on a shaded rock bank with timber. Looked like he had been feeding, as he was fairly fat. Also caught a decent-sized hybrid in a cove. Fished nothing but a orange/chartreuse shad rap crankbait the whole time. Not bad for a beautiful, sunny day. I actually kind of like this lake. Lots of rock & timber. I will fish it again.
