If he was kind enough to go into the closet, I'd be kind enough to secure the door to insure his safety in there....for a long time.
On the other hand, if there is any country that can stand on it's own two feet, I'd vote Israel. IMO if the Israeilies feel like they don't have US support, theywill find a way to very aggressively defend themselves. And it seems to me that's when the US normally then treats them again with respect to inusre they remain calm.

No, you can't make it up, but you sure can spin it. First off, Obama was absolutely correct to send a message to Israel that the continued settlement of land they don't own is the biggest barrier to peace in the middle east. It IS, and any objective observer can see that. Second, it's not like he afforded Abbas the same courtesies he denied Netanyahu. He agreed to meet with him, but only to tell him that the way he is pursuing statehood is WRONG. Of course, you left that part out since it doesn't support your point. And the article also says, "Obama will also meet with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Wednesday," so where's the favoritism? If he were a closet Muslim, why would he support a veto of the Palestinians' bid for statehood?

We will forever disagree on this point............
* I HATE the way Obama is treating Israel. The WORLD created Israel after WWII....not the United States......
* Israel expanded into Gaza and the Golan area due to ARAB intrusion and WARS..the Arabs attacked Israel....Buffer zones were created to help eliminate this intrusion.
All those radical Muslims need to do is STOP attacking Israel.....period. If they'd do that, Israel would live in peace with them....but you know what....they NEVER WILL.
One day, there will be a reckoning, and the **** will hit the fan. I only hope the United States stands with its only real ally in the middle east.

Re: I'm beginning to think he IS a closet Muslim........
OK fine. Of course Israel has a right to exist, and the United States should support that no matter what. And your point about buffer zones is sound, but a lot of settlements can't be justified as needed for that; they're just plain land grabs. But you're right, we'll always disagree on that. Getting back to your original point about how Obama mistreated Netanyahu when he visited last year, and then said he was going to meet with Abbas this week, I'd like to point out that from all that's been reported it doesn't seem that said meeting has happened yet, but he HAS already met with Netanyahu, who called Obama's stance against the UN recognizing a Palestinian state a "badge of honor."
Obama's big mistake here was a year ago, when he stood in front of the UN and made all those pronouncements about a future Palestinian state. If he hadn't done that we likely wouldn't have all this mess going on. But he did that out of naiveté and ineptitude, not because he's a "closet Muslim."

They do because the men in Israle relieve themselves outside some times.
That's why after the Cam David Accord, we said to Israel "UR-i-nation".

If the Arabs put down their weapons today, there would be no more violence. If the Jews put down their weapons today, there would be no more Israel? ( Benjamin Netanyahu)
