Island Camping at Dale Hollow
Anyone ever camped on any of the islands near the Ky/Tn line? We camped on First Island last year and are wanting to try either Big Goat, Graveyard or another island close to good fishing areas next month.
Just wanted to hear some personal experiences.

Go for it and have fun.
To the best of my knowledge, no "port-a-poties, "no fresh water" and "no take out" on any of the above. Other than that, thinking, they would be about the same...:D:D

Very experienced Dale Hollow camper here. Grave Yard blows !!! Hard to keep your boat from banging. Clarks is a good camp site, but again, the boat and where to tie out of main lake waves is trouble. All primitives have porta pots. Poke around, look what you want out a camp site and call Amanda tell her what you want. Be carefull though. Not many people down there during the week if you catch trouble one way or another.

Thanks for the info!
I think we might give Big Goat Island a try this time. I noticed the river channel comes very close to Graveyard & Possum Islands, but it's just a short haul over that way.

I have stayed on Phillips Island and have no complaints. It is just south of Trooper Island. It had port-o-pot and a picnic table.
