Barren River Lake "Redneck Bonefish" Report

Tougher day today. Put in at Walnut Creek and headed out to the flats. Clouds started rolling in after a few hours and the wind was puffing pretty steady all day!! Water was pretty dirty at all my usual spots.... not sure if that was from all the boat traffic or wind or what??? Fish were much harder to spot today... Finally found some clean water near the State Park Beach and got one to the boat!!!

Lost two earlier during hook set due to using a lighter tippet!! :mad: A mistake that won't happen again! ;)

Still a good day to be on the water enjoying the great fall weather!

You the man when it comes too carp.I used too shoot them with a long bow when i was a kid.We used bread balls too catch them around the docks on the Saginaw River and had a ball.Mite have too get in on some carp action again because its so fun.Keep on posting i like checking out the pictures.
